In 1979, there wasn’t many labels that’s worth drinking. I wholeheartedly recommend this Gruaud Larose to you as it’s shockingly good. A whiff and I was sold on the aroma; sexy, rich vanilla and tobacco leaves. Palate was so pleasant, body with melted and integrated tannins, so soft and easy to drink, almost perfect!
这个二级庄的酒叫金玫瑰，魅力四射，容光焕发，水平接近完美。我全心全意的推荐这瓶酒，因为79年份的好波尔多酒不是很多，这个简直是不食人间烟火，鼻子的香味非常性感，重磅级的香草味，和湿烟草味。舌蕾是那么容易喝，完全溶化了和融入酒体的单宁，那么容易喝而且柔顺，简直是接近完美！

OLD SCHOOL
Gruaud Larose during the Cordier era produced one of the best Saint Julien wines, it was totally old school style that required at least 3 4 decades of cellaring to see the potential of the wine. This 1979 didn't come to my attention till 37 years later, and I can safely tell you it's one of the best from 1979.
Bouquet of strong tobacco leaves, bell pepper and bretty. Extremely pleasant to drink, very rich and a voluptuous wine. Surprised to find such quality from a mediocre Bordeaux vintage.
