1981 Chateau Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac Saint Emilion Grand Cru
RIGHT BANK VINTAGE I had many right bank wines, and suffice to say that right banks are very impressive with 1981 vintage. Canon la Gaffeliere is a reputable name to me, I have had this label as old as 66 all the way to 2012, hardly any disappointing vintages. Bery reliable label. Loved the pleasant, really easy going and friendly character of this vintage, plus all the integrated tannins, goes extremely well for a quiet night's drink.
