1982 Chateau Beauregard Pomerol
SUPERB ...
A truly under rated label from Pomerol, I chanced upon a few cases of this gem, grabbed it without a thought. Evaluated the content by drinking the whole bottle.
Started off with very smokey tobacco nose, sat in the glass for 15 min, turned really rusty like rust steel. The charm came at 1 hour mark when it was fireworks, balanced nose with matured fruits.
Content was equally great. Very chunky fruits greeted me, typical Pomerol 82 character, finishing a bit weak. Again at 1 hr mark superb.
