1982 Chateau Gruaud Larose Saint Julien
MAGNUM (1.5L) RULES
In the past I am not a big fan of magnum bottles, but after many experiences (Cos 90, Mouton Rothschild 77, Latour 75 and this one), I must confess magnum bottles offer what a 750ml cannot offer. I had so many bottles of Gruaud Latose 82 in the past, all faded in no time after the initial sip. This one holds in the glass so well. The nose was strong tobacco leaves and coffee. Palette is extremely elegant, very creamy, rich and lovely fruits. Buying magnums can't go wrong.
