1982 Chateau La Fleur Petrus Pomerol
This vineyard is situated between Lafleur and Petrus, thus the name. What a prime location right? Does the name match up to the 2 greatest Pomerol wines? Nope, not quite close, but still decent given that it was from a good vintage. Loads of tobaccos, tobacco leaves on the nose, and mingled with sweet fruits. It was warm, matured, deep and long finishing, loads of ripe cherries. The good feeling didn't last too long, in 30 mins time, it turned mint and menthol, and fading away already.
