1982 Chateau Lagrange Saint Julien
OLD LABEL
Chateau Lagrange, a third classified growth in Bordeaux appellation, used to have an old fashioned label that’s not quite recognizable. After a long period of mediocrity, this brand is bought over by Suntory in 1983 and since them, quality has been improving signficiantly!
Very Chinese herb (the milder type), mint and eucalyptus on the nose. It was light but pleasant on the body, but extremely smooth and easy drinking, just melts in the mouth type of wine.
