1982 Chateau Margaux

I had many Ch Margaux 82 in the past, but this was the most impressive bottle. Provenance was ex chateau, pristine. The La Tache 88 served next to this gem was like wine made in Cambodia, totally pale compared to this gem. However it was my knowledge that shines the wine, as I know exactly how long to decant it (2 hours), and when to drink it. We all had a sip before decanting, and was shocked at the evolution 2 hours later. So elegant, so fulfilling, so easy and all rounded champion. WOTN.
