1982 Chateau Petit Village Pomerol
GREAT POMEROL VINTAGE
I don't recall having a bad bottle of 1982 Pomerol except for the dicey Clinet 82. From Trotanoy to La Conseillante to Petrus and even Beauregard, 82 Pomerols are superb. They all possessed almost similar characters: forward, deep dark core red fruits, robust and even chewy. Petit Village inherited all the characters I have mentioned except that it's slightly more red ripe cherry driven. Exceptional wine with exceptional value.
