ONE OF THE BEST RAUSAN SEGLA
this vineyard has been going through a rough time prior to buyout from Chanel. But I must confess the 82 and 85 are the real gems of RAUSAN Segla (83 does not qualify). Elegant floral and very ripe matured fruits dominated the nose. Very elegant style, a tad too simple and straightforward, very decent fruits, and most surprisingly the wine is not fully matured yet, still have some slight tannins lingering around. Perhaps another 10 more years to full maturity.
