1982 Ducru Beaucaillou Saint Julien

In my drinking career, I have drank at least half a dozen bottles of Ducru Beaucaillou 1982, and not once I was impressed with the content. This bottle was an ex chateau stock, so the provenance was definitely pristine. I didn’t quite enjoy the nose, earthy tone mixed with rotten white cabbage was the signature of this bottle. Body was predictably wines in the 80s, felt alcoholic with middle length finishing, wasn’t an impressive content at all. Totally paled right next to the Cheval Blanc Saint Emilion 98 being served.

I have drank so many bottles of Ducru Beaucaillou 82, it consistently disappointed me, tonight I finally had a bottle that was really good! Obviously served blind, clinical nose, not a good start. Body was heavily loaded with dry raisins, prune like, a bit of cooked food, herbaceous too, very new world wine style!
我喝过了很多瓶这个82年份的卓龙，而且我喝的来源都是庄园买回来的，从来就没有一瓶令我满意，但是今晚却终于迎来了一瓶不错的卓龙82！ 盲品，鼻味就是药房味，不是好的开始。内容非常丰富的葡萄干味,而且带有西梅干，还有好像是煮熟的食物和青涩味，感觉就好像在喝新世界的酒，比如美国纳栢谷的酒一样！

DISAPPOINTING 失望
I had drank at least half a dozen of this Ducru Beaucaillou 82, it consistently disappoints, that’s why I never urge anyone to pick up this wine coming from such an excellent vintage. Nose was filled with strong vanilla and slightly woody character. Palate was extremely dry, dominated by red fruits, but no flare nor excitement. Pass!
我这十年喝了不下六瓶的宝嘉龙82年份的酒，今天在这里慎重的表达我的失望，所以你不要看波尔多好年份就买，免得你花钱买来失望。强烈的香草味还有一点干木香味。酒体太过干燥，基本都是红果肉组成的酒体，一点特别的味道都没有，也没有刺激感和任何值得说的地方，根本就是以失望两个字作为结局。这瓶酒的来源是直接来自酒庄。

Dark ruby, with a little cloudy, surprisingly drinkable and developed beautifully, wonderful nose of leathery, tobacco and cassis fruits. Good but lots of btl variation.
