1982 La Lagune Haut Medoc Grand Cru Classe
It started off with green vegetal and capsicum nose, and very lean and slightly diluted mouthfeel. However all these changed after some decanting. Took about an hour to clear the capsicum to turn into cooked fruits or matured fruits. While the palette improved tremendously from lean fruit to be much more fruity (I guess the decanting and mixing with the air made all the difference). It was drinking well but I couldn't give it 5 stars as it lacks certain charm to excite me. I think the 78 would be better.
