1982 Soldera Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
WAY TOO YOUNG!
I once had the Soldera 86 flew in from a violin case, it was simply speechless, since then I've been hunting for that elusive taste. This 82 was far from the 86, but one thing for sure, it was perhaps at its adolescent stage!
Typical Brunello dark cherry nose. Content was extremely sweet, reminiscent of sweet cherries, dry, thick viscosity which improved over time. One thing for sure, the grip and tannins were vivid for this 37 years old wine! I sat in the glass for 2+ hours, hardly evolve!
