... continued it's legacy. In a blind lineup of Bordeaux 83, Latour again took the limelight with the crowning of the King of the Vintage. Let me share some tips here: the worse the vintage, the better first growth showed up as the greatest (with an exception for Lafite).
Typical Latour bouquet of smoke and tobacco leaves, along with slight floral notes. Sweet, ripe and forward, the tannins were so well integrated, the wine simply melted in my mouth. Excellent wine in a mediocre vintage.
