1983 Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru
CANNOT UNDERSTAND
Served blind, so my opinion was frank. Although the nose was sweet and charming, it brought along some unpleasantness, namely a salted fish character.
Palate was equally not impressive, a bit harsh, a bit bright on the fruits, very structured, obviously drinking too young.
Was shocked to find it to be an Armand Rousseau Clos de Beze 83, of all makers! My conclusion was that it has not reached the right drinking window yet, too bad!
