Had lunch with a friend at a French restaurant today, decided that we should taste a bottle of this Haut Brion Blanc which is very difficult to get hold of, and also outrageous price. It really didn't taste like some aged white Bordeauxs at all, in fact, still so young, probably tasted like a late 1990 white. Nose is very complex and keeps on evolving with pinewood, lemon, floral.
