1983 La Dominique Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classe
SUPER EASYGOING
La Dominique, a St Emilion wine that was known to be a light weight, mellow and pleasant wine, even on the younger vintages like 98 or 2000. How did it fare for a 33 year old bottle?
Nose of pinewood started off strongly, then rusty steel kicked in after a few minutes, and when it opened up, it was stewed fruits; I enjoyed seeing light wines with so much evolution.
Palate wise, it was extremely matured, pleasant and extremely easy to drink. Really addictive to drink such matured wine!
