1985 Chateau Gazin Pomerol
THE LIGHTER STYLE OF 85 For most Bordeaux 85 that I have tasted, they're normally very rich, ripe and forward. This Gazin totally did not have any of the 85 characters. Nose was terribly muted, did not even open up after half an hour. Slightly thin, sour, coffee, the plus point was that the wine was youthful. However the wine terribly lacks structure, a bit raw and green, a light style. Was out of sync with most Bordeaux 85s.
