1985 Rauzan Segla Margaux
Candied confectionary nose very modern along with some Margaux perfume and flowers. Palate was nicely fresh. Sweet and modern, with rich berry flavours, balanced and nicely proportioned until the finish which showed rather watery.
Fragrant nose, with some coffee & dark chocolate blended in. Still a bit sharp & acidic on the palette, not as forward as most 85s, but I can feel the potential for it. Anyway this 85 is still drinking pleasantly right now.
