1986 Pape Clement Pessac Leognan
First bottle had dry cupboard, damn and wet tobacco. I felt it was off (but how do you explain dry cupboard?), so I asked for a replacement bottle.
Two grade jump on the new bottle! Only wet leaves and aged tobacco without the dry cupboard on the nose. Very vibrant and lively content, nice age at a great drinking window, mellow and not aggressive, morphing into slight violet, ended with great finesse, typical of a Pape Clement!
