The nose was screaming Nebbiolo grapes, even the palette didn't taste like a Bordeaux. You should see my expression when Christian van N who brought this bottle all the way from Zurich to Singapore, 14 hours flight and immediately got into the restaurant without a break, told me this was a Bordeaux ex chateau bottle! I had many of this bottle in the past, nothing similar to last night. Flight shock? Bottle shock? Flight woke the wine up?
