LEFLAIVE GRAND CRUS Served blind. A superb GC from a superb vintage, A decent GC from a great vintage, An average GC from an average vintage, and lastly a superb GC from a poor vintage. This was the blockbuster for me, I keep upgrading the scores throughout the night. Refined balanced oak, superb white flower nose, mingled with some tobaccos. Initially the palette was a bit sour and bitter, and tasted clumsy, but when it settled down to the right temperature, the beauty starts to surface! #2 scenario.
