1989 Gruaud Larose Saint Julien

Recently I have reported the 2002 vintage of Gruaud Larose, and I really admire this label that it's consistent in style and flavor after tasting this 89.
Almost a replica of 2002 on the nose and palate, very beefy stock. Palate was so big and extremely fruity, very chunky, very rich, the juice was so thick and with huge density, decent amount of tannins still lurking around. In my opinion not quite ready for consumption yet, prefer to wait another decade.
