1990 Chateau La Louvière Pessac Leognan Grand Cru Classe Blanc
GRAVES WHITE
I'm fully persuaded Pessac Leognan or Graves produced the best whites in the whole Bordeaux. This cheap label was many people's Wine of the Night, even to some novice drinkers, to my amazement! There's no need Haut Brion Blanc to impress us.
Summer flower, integrated oaks with slight charred wood when smelled upon. The content was extremely well integrated of rich but elegant fruity body, layers upon layers of fruits, very good and long finishing. Truly an old charm.
