IMPRESSIVE ALSACE RIESLING
I hardly have a chance to drink aged Riesling as I don't have a habit to collect them. Drinking it blind, matching it with a scallop dish, I was impressed with it. Slightly clinical nose, coupled with kerosene and honey comb. The palette was interesting with loads of pineapple and unriped tropical fruits, along with ginger and lemon oil. Slight bitterness and a bit short on the finishing are my dislikes. But overall I am impressed with it.
