1991 Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru
ROUSSEAU'S QUEEN
Armand Rousseau has two trump cards, one was the Chambertin being the King while this Clos de Beze being the queen. Traditionally this CdB was more feminine compared to Chambertin, I had it side by side and was really difficult to figure it out. I'd say such wine really needed at least 30 years of age to come around. Any time lesser would be a waste of money.
Very pure, elegant and way too young, although with time it grew more intense. I much prefer such young burgundy to be decanted.
