1991 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru
LEFLAIVE CHEVALIER IS TOP
Even on an average vintage, this Chevalier Montrachet did not disappoint, holding up to be a superb wine. Was quite muted on the nose initially, slowly opened up to a field of funnels, lily, artichoke, and olive oil. At mid point we decided to decant the bottle, which was a great decision. The most impressive character of this bottle is the length of the finishing, a stunning 60secs or perhaps longer finish! Extremely long. An extremely elegant wine as well. Thanks to Johan!
