1992 Domaine Ramonet Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru
HOLY BASTARD!
As talked about in my earlier post that one of the white burgundy killer vintages included 92. After the BBM, this bastard almost sent me speechless.
Nose was muted with only slight coffee. However, the palate was, truly where it really shone. Fresh, rich, layers with depth and density, an extremely harmonious and balanced wine with no sign of speaking too loud or trying to overpower me. Batard = Bastard in French, this must have been mated through a fairy tale....
