I hardly venture off the beaten path of Bordeaux / burgundy. So when this Marsanne & Roussanne blended white popped up, plus it had bottle age, I grabbed a dozen of it without thought. I get a lot of matured honey, petroleum, bitter pomelo skin plus copper coin mineral on the nose. Color is deep yellow nearing golden color. Palette wise, it's a big bold white, but due to age, it has mellowed down a fair bit. Very honey, rich, slightly bitter fruit skin. A change of my daily drinking wine!
