1995 Billecart Salmon Cuvee Elisabeth Salmon Brut Rose
UNCHARACTERISTIC
I haven't come across any great Billicart Salmon champagne, and I thought this Cuvee Elizabeth Salmon was going to change my perception. Unfortunately miracle didn't happen and I almost going to write off this label.
Nose of slight aged yeast with dashes of sweet cherries and raspberries. Content totally lacked bubbles, perhaps due to poor provenance or bad storage, although it was very fruity with the taste of melted cherries, rich and elegant.
