1995 Bouchard Pere & Fils Montrachet Grand Cru
MONTRACHET FLIGHT 4/4
In a crazy night, our friend did some crazy lineup of 4 Grand Crus, of which 3 were Montrachet, the most prized label in the pyramid of Puligny Montrachet, plus a bottle of Chevalier Montrachet, just to stir things up. Not a well known vintage for white burgundy, but this one kicked the 90 & 92 butt so hard it was beyond recognition, well deserved winner of the flight.
Slight barley and very light on the nose. The wine content was so rich and more importantly extremely addictive.
