1995 Chateau Figeac Saint Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classe

This Figeac 95 came in 3rd in a recent blind tasting of Bordeaux 95, right behind Pichon Baron (1st) and Angelus (2nd), while first growth like Latour, Mouton and Margaux were not anywhere near top 3 (not ready). Also if you noticed, Figeac label is different from other vintages, I don't know why.
Really lovely nose of elegance and vanilla oak. The content was extremely lively, rich although not the heavyweight fruit nor bold. She simply won our heart as an elegant wine.
