1995 La Conseillante Pomerol
SOFT, SMOOTH & SILKY
I always considered La Conseillante to be a super second growth if there's a Pomerol classification for it, may not be as great as first tier Petrus or Le Pin, but definitely way above many other Pomerol labels. This vintage had a slight over oak character as the vanilla nose was heavy, however it mellowed down over time. Palate was very soft, smooth and silky, the only exception was that you'll have to decant it for 2+ hours as 95 wasn't ready for consumption yet like the 85 or 89.
