1995 Louis Jadot Puligny Montrachet 1er Les Referts
FEMININE PULIGNY MONTRACHET
Was in a theme of Bordeaux 95 blind tasting that I brought this Magnum bottle to share. First time having this plot so not sure what to expect. Later found out that it was a plot at the lower slope of Puligny and facing the Meursault side. I enjoyed it, was oily initially with bitter nose and oak, then floral showed up, finally turned extremely oily. The body was obviously soft and feminine, not extremely flavorful but very enjoyable when it slowly warmed up.
