1997 Bouchard Pere & Fils Meursault Genevrières Premier Cru
The nose was big with charred wood and melted butters, plus a lot of aged matured nose, later I also detected some pomelo. The palette is big; loads of melted butter, elevated acidity and very mineral, and then I got petroleum taste as well. The wine is too big to my liking, a bit too overpowering and lacks definitive finesse. Too bad.
