1997 Leoville Barton Saint Julien
Served blind, I was on fire. My first nose guess was already a Saint Julien; tobacco, very strong tobacco leaves, very fruity and slightly minty. I confirmed Saint Julien with a sip. A bit dry, only a decent amount of fruits. I could not nail the vintage as I thought it was 95, the palette didn't show so much dilution not green notes to let me think of 97. Oh well, such is blind tasting.
