1998 Calon Segur St Estephe
This wine has a deep garnet purple color with earthy and meaty aromas of leather, smoked game, truffles, and mossy bark, combined with fruity notes of cassis and plums. The palate is medium bodied, offering layers of spice and earthiness with velvety tannins, fresh acidity, and a long finish. Pleasant & drinkable but just above average classified Bordeaux.
