1998 Carruades De Lafite Pauillac
Don’t underestimate this 2nd label. It is well made! Value for money! At first drink, attack is quite powerful. Polished tannin, fruity palate and well balanced. Though it feels like Lafite in miniature, it is more forward with bouquet of earth, smoke and minerals. A juicy wine with loads of red berries and mint on the nose. Wine is however quite lean and dry.
