1998 Domaine Armand Rousseau Père Et Fils Clos de La Roche Grand Cru
It was served blind. Nose was with very big fruits, but relatively young, slightly oaky. Palette was with very big fruits, extremely balanced, and the fruit sweetness lingers around my palette. The downfall was the short finishing on this wine, that's why I didn't rate it too highly. Was relatively disappointed it was a Rousseau Clos de la Roche when the label is revealed, was hoping for a cheaper label. Well, drinking this next to Ch Margaux 59 or Brane Cantenac 62 was a mistake to start off with.
