1998 Domaine de Chevalier Pessac Leognan Rouge
Very strong earthy note on the nose. Palette was unexpectedly light & soft, pleasant (as 98 was a really great graves vintage), some dusty tannins lurking. Balanced. I think it can age gracefully for 2 more decades. I just upgraded it from 4 to 4.5 stars, with some decanting, the wine turns into great finesse & elegance. Highly recommended.
