1998 Domaine Maume Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru
WRIGLEY GUM
Served from a leftover of a magnum from last night's dinner, the content was still alive and kicking.
First whiff was extra dose of spearmint, almost like a Wrigley's chewing gum. Content was extremely young, in fact way too young for drinking. Tasted like a concoction of Chinese herbal medicine, extremely dry and tannic. It was relatively sweet, rich but light in taste, not sure if it was the magnum in play. Huge future potential, I will not open another bottle for the next decade.
