1999 Domaine Zind Humbrecht Riesling Alsace Grand Cru Brand
1999 was perhaps not a great vintage for Alsace, but the maker Zind Humbrecht certainly not a common winemaker, he certainly tried his best to make a good Riesling, and this bottle was certainly not disappointing! Nose was filled with very high class fine oak, very addictive to smell it. Content wise, beautiful ripe window to drink this beauty. Although the typical dry pineapple and tropical fruits showed up, the fruits and acidity came into harmony. It was a pleasure to drink this wine!
