1999 Henri Perrlot Minot Mazoyeres Chambertin Grand Cru
Another bottle from the same maker to judge, this was slightly better than the Charmes Chambertin. Nose is big, structured, and intense. Color is very dense dark purple. Palette was rich but at least some elegance, a bit tannic showing that this wine is probably not ready to drink. The wine was thick and big. Looks like this maker really favors making big bold burgundies which I will much prefer to drink Bordeaux.
