2000 Duhart Milon Pauillac
My first nose, I nosed it at least 10 times again, just to confirm what I smell was correct dark chocolate and coffee, perhaps a bit of mocha. Such nose are usually found in Margaux wines but I was shocked to find it in a Pauillac wine, thus the repeated confirmation on the nose. Palette wise, it was also almost coffee like, but the elegant type of coffee and not the rugged type. I must say this wine possesses a lot of elegance and should not be underestimated. Revisit in 5 yrs time to be appropriate.
