2000 Lagavulin Distillery Egistere Machi Port Ellen
REVISIT
On my second tasting of this single blend whiskey, I was less impressed compared to the first time tasting it. This was distilled in 2000 but bottled in 2016, was quite strong to me at 43% ABV.
Didn’t quite like the nose, can’t describe it properly. Palate was decent, with quite a complex taste. Quite a few characters, entry of a powerful man but ended up softer than expected, almost feminine. Along the way showing various characters of tastes. Decent for a Single Malt.
