2000 ShiFang
I was invited by a friend to taste this potent white liquor of 52% alcohol, normally made with Barley, Wheat and a few other varieties. This is a private collection by the winemaker, getting hold of a bottle of this authentic private label was extremely tough. I was really honored to get to drink half a bottle of it. Very smooth, very pleasant, goes well with spicy Sichuan food. The fragrant filled the whole room when we pour it into our small decanter. I was certainly intoxicated that night!
