2001 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc
Served blind again. Another aged kiwi white. I could not believe it actually aged so well. Nose was full of lychee (a tropical fruit). The fruit intensity on the palette was good, and I thought only old world could produce such wines, leaning towards white burgundy, probably a Batard Montrachet, 2nd choice is Nspa white. You should see my expression to find out it was a new world wine! Cloudy Bay 2001! I was humbled!
