2001 Domaine Leflaive Puligny Montrachet 1er Le Clavoillon
Nose of floral, lemon, lemon zest. The beauty is on the palette, rich, very mineral, moderately oily, getting some grapefruit as the cheek. I liked the richness and the roundness of this wine. Perhaps a bit lack of complexity that's why 4.5 stars, but it's very difficult to drink Leflaive at premier cru level and still gets disappointed.
