In the first flight of blind tasting, sommelier has discreetly arranged 4 bottles of Bonneau du Martray, and the surprise was that they never had any similar characters! 02 was a big vintage, so one should expect it to be a big wine. Indeed it was, super ripe and forward, almost borderline premox. Took 45 mins to tone down and turned out to be very pleasant.
侍酒师安排的第一次序盲品里就渗透了四瓶马特莱不同的年份，惊讶的是四瓶却没有共同的性格，完全不一样！02年是个大年份，所以一上来就是非常成熟的果味，而且接近氧化。经过了45分钟左右在杯子里醒酒终于被空气制服了，后来就非常柔顺而且很有味道。

BONNEAU THE GREAT
I always find Bonneau du Martray Corton Charlemagne one of the better quality Grand Cru from Cotes de Beaune, apart from Coche Dury (of which I still don't have the pleasure to taste it yet).
Was a clear 5 stars wine to me initially but then I downgraded it to 4.5 thereafter. I find it with extremely great richness, in addition, it was very balanced as well as softness encapsulated the palate. The downgrade was caused by surprisingly degrading taste that was not holding up in the glass.
