2002 Didier Dagueneau Pur Sang
This is clearly wine of the night for me. It was the best wine I had from Didier Dagueneau, period. The nose was very ripe, like overcooked chrysanthemum, very masculine. However, at later stage the chrysanthemum nose toned down and disappeared. The palette was so beautiful, it touched my heart. Extremely balanced, extremely pleasant & elegant. It is obviously at its prime drinking window right now. I won't be surprised this can compete with a top white burgundy.
