2003 E. Pira & Figli Cannubi Barolo
HANG MYSELF!
My friend tested me today on a blind bottle. A whiff, very smoky. A sip and I ID it as Super Tuscans, as it's really structured and there's as much tannins and grips (thinking of Cab Sav or Franc) along with very mellow character (certainly Merlot). Then I went back to burgundy, perhaps l'Enfant Jesus or Louis Latour Les Chevenottes. My friend guided me a little, think my 1st instinct... I gave a hard thought and realized I missed out Piedmont completely, it was a Barolo! Ought to be hanged!
